Sorry to come across the sad news. I use to be a pupil at Brickwall. I still remember that he would take football one evening a week, come rain or shine, which I was truly thankful for. Great teacher.
If you can hear me. Thanks for all the help Nick, sorry Mr Oddy....

So saddened to hear this news. Nick was an amazing and supportive colleague who amongst many attributes, had a tremendous wit. He will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to Michelle and the family.

Among many memorable events I too can still see Nick doing the on-the-shed-hoover-rock-guitar, it was spectacular...! It was the only time I ever saw that, at Michele and Nick's wedding - and like Nick himself 'once seen never forgotten'! Their wedding was the best wedding ever - and Michele and Nick, what brilliant party arrangers and hosts! The words I think of which describe him - very clever, handsome, loyal, a cheeky grin, irreverent, naughty, deep-feeling, a story-teller and irrepressibly funny are some really special qualities he had that come to mind. And a truly loved man. When I think of some of his pranks I still laugh! They say "the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long" - we enjoyed and loved his singular brightness, I'm sorry we never expected it to be so short. Nick won't ever be forgotten. My sincere condolences to Michele and all the family xx
